The service
Shrink Clip is a free, advertising-supported web application that helps you compress and convert video in your browser. Features can change. There is no paid plan and no service level agreement.
Your files
You are responsible for the files you process and for having the rights to process them. Encoding happens on your device. We do not host user media. Keep backups of originals; browsers can run out of memory on very large files.
Acceptable use
Do not abuse the site, attempt to break it, or use it to violate the law. Do not scrape in a way that harms other visitors. Ads fund the tool; do not fraudulently generate clicks.
No warranty
The site is provided “as is.” We do not warrant that a compressed file will be accepted by Discord, WhatsApp, any email host, or any other platform — those companies set and change their own limits. We are not affiliated with them.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, Shrink Clip and its operator are not liable for lost files, failed sends, or indirect damages arising from use of the site. If a jurisdiction does not allow this limitation, it applies to the maximum extent permitted.
Privacy
The privacy policy explains cookies, ads, and the fact that videos are not uploaded.
